Goose & Ellie Mae
Last Saturday, I had a practice Happy Tails session. I had no idea what to expect, as I've only done a pet once or twice setting in with their families. So this was a learning experience. I learned that we need to have extra treats (namely string cheese) on hand. I learned that dogs do better when they are wore out. And I learned that just like children, they don't always perform as you hope they would. (Nevertheless, I love photographing them anyway!! Children and dogs.)
Meet Goose and Ellie Mae. Goose (brown/white) absolutely SHINED!! He was made to model! Not shy about anything and wanted to be included in every picture. Ellie Mae... well, she is a beautiful dog who was rescued from a shelter by her fabulous humans and painfully shy in public. Although I captured a few of Miss Ellie Mae, I heard stories that her family has some great images of her decked out in heels and such. So she's not totally camera shy.
Again, I had a great time and can't wait for this coming Sunday to try my hand at a few more pet portraits. There are still spots available so give us a call, text, email or facebook us and get your Happy Tails session set up today!
